Palindromic Specimens FAQ: Values and Saved Coins

Draw eight independent equally likely binary symbols. Count distinct nonempty contiguous substring VALUES that read the same forwards and backwards and have length at least two. Repeated occurrences of the same palindrome value count once, regardless of position. Single symbols are excluded. This is not counting positional subsequences, all occurrences or merely the longest palindrome. No threshold is subtracted: the count itself is raw score.

00000000 has the seven palindromic values 00, 000, 0000, 00000, 000000, 0000000 and 00000000, so score seven. Multiple appearances of 00 do not add further points. Over all 256 equally likely words, four score five, 250 score six and two score seven. Every outcome has positive raw score, but that does not guarantee a net virtual gain.

Select power one, two or three before drawing. Gross multiplier is 0.96 times raw score raised to selected power divided by that power’s exact unconditional mean. Those means are 5.9921875, 35.9296875 and 215.5703125 respectively. Each mode has 96% exact unrounded expected gross credit of captured stake, not winning frequency or a session promise. The numerator and denominator must use the same power; a positive score can return less than stake.

Choose a whole virtual stake and power before starting. One captured stake is debited once. The complete sampled board settles after its animation, normally 480 milliseconds; reduced motion changes duration rather than probabilities. Settings and refill lock during settlement and an active Auto queue. Auto schedules at most ten rounds; Stop cancels only future queued rounds and lets the active round settle. There is no early cashout. Change settings only after the queue is idle.

The wallet starts with 1000 free virtual coins. Settled wallet and fractional-credit carry persist in browser localStorage. Only while idle below ten coins can manual refill set balance to 1000 preserving carry; it does not add 1000. Saved debited wallet and carry survive reload, but an unfinished round is not recovered or refunded. Keep an active round open until settlement. No account synchronizes devices or restores removed values.

The guide has no customer registration, payment or identity-document form. Google Fonts, Statinside and server or CDN requests may expose IP, device and request information. Complete third-party processing, retention, cookie lifetimes and anonymity are not established here. No complete absence of personal data, minimal-data assurance or no-sale or profiling promise is supplied. LocalStorage differs from ordinary cache, history and cookies.
